- Mailing list users@nbandroid.kenai.com is the best place for discussion about features, problems and other similar topics. Similarly there is a dev@nbandroid.kenai.com for developers. Note that the projects has also issues@... and commits@... list though these are automated lists receiving updates from our JIRA bug tracker and Mercurial repository. All these lists are low traffic and you can subscribe or browse archives from here.
- File your bugs and enhancement requests to JIRA. Please add your IDE log that often contains useful information needed to evaluate bugs. A narrowed sample of data that allows to reproduce the problem is another kind of a valuable attachment. Sometimes this is not enough to investigate the cause and additional logging information can be requested. Modify your NetBeans configuration file by adding
-J-Dorg.netbeans.modules.android.level=FINEto netbeans_default_options value and re-run your session. IDE log produced from this run will contain more details about plugin activity. The chance that your bug or RFE will be handle increases with the quality of your submission. - You can also use discussion forums created at kenai.com hosting but the response time here can be longer.
- Please do not start discussions in blog comments. It is hard to track, it is hard to respond directly and it not a good place to track tasks.
- Follow blog at our pages and stay in contact by following Twitter account @nb_android that gets occasional updates.
